• Good morning, Pirates! It’s day two of Red Ribbon Week, and today we’re talking about vaping! Did you know? Many vapes contain nicotine, which is highly addictive. Nicotine can change the way your brain works, making it harder to concentrate and easier to become addicted. And here’s another fact: The cloud you see from a vape isn’t harmless water vapor. It’s an aerosol that can contain harmful chemicals and tiny particles that enter your lungs. Don’t let the flavors or the advertisements fool you. Just because something smells sweet doesn’t mean it’s safe.

Pirates, don’t trade your health for a habit. Stay vape-free and drug-free!

• Peer Pressure: Make Your Own Choices. Good morning, pirates! This week, we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week, a time to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and the importance of making healthy choices. Did you know? Peer pressure doesn’t always involve someone directly telling you what to do. Sometimes it’s the fear of being judged, left out, or made fun of for making a different choice. Whether it’s drugs, vaping, or other risky behaviors, no one should feel pressured or bullied into doing something just to fit in. Remember, you don’t have to follow the crowd to earn someone’s respect. Real friends won’t make you feel bad for standing up for what you believe in. Pirates, respect others, stand up for yourself, and remember that making your own choices is a sign of strength. Stay drug-free!
