Monday, October 13th, 2025

 

  • Congratulations to our Pirate Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams on outstanding seasons! Both teams showed incredible dedication, perseverance, and teamwork from the first workout to the final race. The boys' team qualified to move on to the regional meet for the 4th consecutive year. Congratulations to both teams again.
  • We will have a Key Club meeting and shirt pick-up on Tuesday, October 14th, in Mrs. Gau's room 504.  Times are 7:55 am and 3:55 pm.  Please make plans to attend!
  • Senior Boys will be taking photos on Tuesday, October 14th. We will call for you in groups according to last name, be sure to be listening to the announcements throughout the day. Photos will be taken in the auditorium. Boys will need to wear a white button-up shirt and a tie.
  • Homecoming Week just got a whole lot sweeter — and a little messy! Get ready for our Pie in the Face Challenge. Starting today, October 13 during both lunches drop your money into the jar of the person YOU want to see pied! The staff member who raises the most money will be our lucky “winner”. So bring your cash, cast your votes, and let’s see who’s going to win!

 

  • Pirates, it’s time to start preparing for the Homecoming Overall and Pants Decoration Contest! On Homecoming Day, wear your decorated overalls or pants and check in with Mrs. Sanchez in Room 509 before 1st period to enter! The winner will be announced after the pep rally. Show your Pirate pride and start decorating now!

 

  • We will have a Key Club meeting and shirt pick-up on Tuesday, October 14th in Mrs. Gau's room 504.  Times are 7:55 am and 3:55 pm.  Please make plans to attend!

 

  • Hey Seniors! Your yard signs have arrived and are ready for pickup after school today in Mrs. Hoffpauir's office. Huge thanks to Marsh Tire for generously providing them at no cost!

  • It’s game day! Tonight, your Vidor Pirates are ready to take on the Huffman-Hargrave Falcons at 7:30 PM at Huffman Stadium. Let’s fill the stands with black and gold, make some noise, and show the Falcons what Pirate Pride is all about! Grab your friends, bring your spirit, and let’s cheer our team on to another big win! Go Pirates!

  • Please help wish our Pirate Tennis Team good luck as they travel to Hudson High School to take on the Madisonville Mustangs today for the Area round of playoffs!

  • The Textile Arts Club will be selling crafts and accessories for next week's dress-up themes! We'll also have a make your own bracelet station for $5. We'll be in the main hallway each morning before school, Tuesday-Friday!  We hope to see you there!  

 

  • Debate students who will participate in the UIL Debate event this weekend need to come by Mrs.Conn's room 106 today or tomorrow.
