- Pep Rally Theme: Take Care of the Senior Citizens!
This week, we’re showing some extra care for our seniors!
Seniors: Dress like senior citizens — grab those canes, cardigans, and curlers!
Underclassmen (9th–11th): Suit up as doctors and nurses ready to care for our “patients!”
Let’s see who can pull off the best look — our seniors or their healthcare team!
- Interested in trying out for Boys’ Soccer this year? There is a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, November 10th, at 5:30 pm in the health room.
- The November NHS meeting is on Wednesday after school at 3:50 or Thursday before school at 7:50. Dues will be collected. Please make plans to attend.
- Student Council and the Criminal Justice Club are collecting items for active-duty military currently deployed overseas. Help us show our support by donating snacks, hygiene products, and other small comfort items. All donations should be brought to Room 509 by Thursday, November 14th. Let’s show Pirates take care of our heroes!
- Congratulations to all of the students and staff who completed the Hallow-Read Beanstack challenge! We need the following students to stop by the library to pick up their prizes: Rick Rine, Peyton Brukhalter, Michaela Cowart, Claudia Snider, and Torsein Smith. Our November challenge has already started! Everyone who completes this challenge will get a prize!! Ask Mrs. King how to get started!!
- Attention Pirates! The Pirate Café is open this week during both lunches in Room 303. This week we will be serving a Chef Salad, loaded with diced ham, diced turkey breast, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, egg, bacon pieces, and croutons. You can choose Ranch or Italian dressing, and as always, the meal includes a bottled water or sweet tea. The cost is $8, and you can pay with cash or a check. Come enjoy a fresh, delicious lunch and support your Advanced Culinary students at the Pirate Café!

❖ Hey Pirates! It’s the last week of football season, and our teams need your support as they take the field one last time!
Freshman & JV hit the road to Livingston this Thursday, let’s wish them luck as they wrap up an amazing season!
Then on Friday night, don’t miss your Varsity Pirates in their final home game as they take on the Livingston Lions! Let’s fill the stands and bring the energy!
❖ If you plan on trying out for boys’ basketball, there will be a mandatory parent meeting today, Monday, November 3rd, at 5:30 pm in the Main Gym. Tryouts for Freshmen, JV, and Varsity will be on the following Monday, November 10th. Please see Coach Hoyt if there are any

- ATTENTION STUDENTS! Today is the last day to turn in parent notes for the current 6 weeks. Be sure to check Skyward and attempt to clear any discrepancies with the attendance office before the end of the day.
- Don't forget to order your yearbook while they're on sale this week! November 1st is the last day to order the 2026 yearbook for the sale price of $50, so be sure to grab this spooky good deal before it disappears!
- Student Council and Interact are hosting our annual Food Drive from November 3rd through November 12th. All donations will go to Fishers of Men to help families in need right here in our community. You can drop off your non-perishable food items to Room 509 or Room 709. Let’s come together to make a difference, Pirates!
