  • Good morning, Pirates. Today, we pause to recognize Veterans Day,  a special day to honor all the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. As we go about our day, let us take a moment to reflect on the service and dedication of our veterans—past and present. Please take a moment today to thank a veteran—whether it’s a family member, teacher, neighbor, or community member—for their service and commitment to our country. Let’s all show our respect and gratitude by standing a little taller, working a little harder, and remembering that freedom isn’t free. On behalf of Vidor High School, we express our deepest gratitude to all who have worn the uniform in defense of our country. Thank you, and have a respectful and meaningful Veterans Day.
